No More Cap’n For CC

No More Cap’n For CC

Ok, admit it, although you might not have eaten a whole box of Cap’n Crunch when you were a kid or even now as an adult you were tempted. That stuff is really good and if you like sweets I am sure it would sound like a good idea at the time.

The reality is that whether CC Sabathia knows it or not ,he is now an ambassador for good healthy eating. I have been on the heavy side my whole life and any time I have taken off weight , I have done it by cutting things down or out. What CC combined with his weight training and exercise he may even get down to swim wear weight by the summer.

The real talk on CC Sabathia however is not how much he ( although as he stated ” The older you get and the more injuries have as an athlete, the better in shape you are the better it is to come back” ) weighs, but rather how he will perform this year in a year that technically could find him opting out of his contract for more money.

Was the weight loss just the beginning of CC’s message that he wants more money and wants to impress other teams? We will just have to wait and see but from the little ( and it was little ) that he said on the topic it sure seems he could be headed that way if the deal is right.
